Method:
1-Boc-3-amino-3-azetidinecarboxylic acid is generally synthesized by the following steps:
1.3-amino -3-azetidine carboxylic acid and Boc2O (tert-butoxycarbonyl chloride) are reacted in diethyl carbonate (Et2CO3) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solvent to generate 1-Boc-3-amino-3-azetidine chloride;
2. 1-Boc-3-amino-3-azetidinoyl chloride was reacted with sodium hydride (NaH) in diethyl carbonate (Et2CO3) and methanol (MeOH) solvent to yield 1-Boc-3-amino-3-azetidinecarboxylic acid.
